small yet powerful tribute to russell

russell's birthday was friday Dec 11. happy brithday love. you made it. i just wanted to write a little "love tribute" to you so here it is....this will meet my blog quota for the year.
i love his patience with me. i love that in the middle of costco he starts a game of tag and wont stop till he wins...which didn't happen.:) i love that he is a genuinely happy person. i love that he cooks and bakes..often. i love that he is not afraid to tell or show me how he is feeling. i love how hard he works. i love his smile and the freckle on his upper lip that almost always distracts me when he talks. i love that he is a simple man (not to be confused with simple-minded-which he is absolutely anything but). i love how he thinks logically and analytically. i love that he is the best listener ever and that he humors me by listening to all my stories. i love that he doesn't always take my side..he thinks objectively. i love that he understands me and "gets" me. i love that he is laid back and easy going. i love when his nose scrunches up when he laughs really hard. i love that he has a strong testimony of Jesus Christ. i love that we get to be each others "preferred everything companion" forever.
Even though you had to give a presentation at school, finish a paper, and go to work till 11pm on Friday, i still hope you had a decent birthday and u felt how much i care about you. love you hot stuff.
